Urban Outfitters on Atlantic Avenue: Sign’s Up
So word has been out for a while that the bottom floor of the sailmaker building on Atlantic Avenue is gearing up to host Brooklyn’s first Urban Outfitters–that is if Williamsburg doesn’t beat it to the punch (for coverage history see NYObserver, Brooklyn Daily Eagle, BK11201). But I do believe I have the first photo of Urban Outfitters signage. Say what you will about chain stores in the ‘hood, but I think Atlantic Avenue is the perfect spot for a chain store like Urban, and I’ll be happy to not have to hop on the F when I want to bask in trapeze Ts and oddly shaped sweaters.
