Great Beer And Excellent Cheese Equal One Awesome Tasting Event

Late this last summer, after an event at The Yard, I stopped at Bar Great Harry (BGH) for the first time and tried Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. It was one of the most flavorful high gravity beers (9%) I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. BGH has since become my favorite neighborhood joint for enjoying microbrews.

One my most recent visit, I was excited to learn of their upcoming team-up with Stinky Brooklyn and Dogfish Brewery. On Thursday, January 22nd around 7pm, BGH will have a tasting event consisting of 6 brews and 6 well matched cheeses. The downside, this event is far from free. You will need to purchase a $50 ticket ahead of time (call 718-222-1103 between 2 and 5pm). Regardless of the price, I plan on being there.
