A Brooklyn Life

Is there an empty building in all of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill or Carroll Gardens that hasn’t–at one time, or another–been rumored, on the internet, to be openings as a McDonald’s? If you were thinking the long-vacant Blockbuster space, then you’d be wrong because that has been taken care of this morning on Curbed. Although I don’t really mean this, there’s a part of me just wishes McDonald’s would open in the ‘hood and be done with it and then we wouldn’t have to suffer through the passionate throes of McDonald’s-about-to-open-and-ruin-our -quality-of-life rumors. Just saying.
