ABL:Radio - Big and Bouncy - Mixed by TigerStripes

| | Comments (3)

TigerstripesSorry for the no-show on last week's episode. I had to make a unscheduled trip down to Atlanta to take care of some business. In some ways,  it was nice having a break from the podcast after 45 episodes.

So, to get back into the swing of things, we have guest DJ TigerStripes from Portland, Oregon. He got his start spinning 60s jazz, 70s funk, lounge, exotica and soundtracks, but moved on to 80s R&B and disco sound after a local DJ dropped off a few crates of records at the record shop where he worked. The rest, as they say, is history.

Really nice mix, indeed!! Loving it.

If you have any of your 60s mixes available anywhere I'd love to hear them. I used to do a night in Melbourne playing that kind of stuff under the name Charlie Quattro...those were the days.

Anyway, love the mix, selection and style. Fab.
