A Little Christmas Magic

When I was a little kid, I used to love the crystal growing kits, so imagine my delight when I saw a Magic Christmas Tree at Mxyplyzyk. Six hours of fun! The first picture is an hour or two into it. And the second is the next day. The best $6 I’ve spent in a long time.

    Red Santa versions of these are being sold at A Cooks Companion on Atlantic Ave (at the corner of Court St).
    I’d never seen them before – so creepy!

    Well of course! What goes better with magic christmas trees than a few beers! If you had one beer an hour, you would drink an entire six-pack in the time it takes for the tree to grow.

    Christmas Cheer.

    Just in time for Christmas, a weeklong chill has lifted off Poca, West Virginia, lifting temperatures into the 50s today, 50s tomorrow and then rain on Sunday. I’m dreaming of a wet Christmas.
